Our challenge this month was to create a card or other type of project that reflects some of the holiday spirit found in our home.  I used the Chanukah gelt (gold coins) as an inspiration for a card that could be used year round.

PTI November Blog Hop!

PTI November Challenge

Tags and wrapping paper are some of my favorite parts of the holiday season.  Go figure!  Anyway, putting together these simple tags helped me get into the holiday spirit.

Stamps:  Mazel Tov, Holiday Tree, Winter Swirls (PTI)

Paper: Kraft, Enchanted Evening, White (PTl)

Ink: Fresh Snow, True Black, Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain, Aqua Mist, Versamark (PTI)

Punches: oval, star, circle, square

Other: embossing powder, twinkling H₂0 paints_, dimensionals

PTI SEPTEMBER BLOG HOP!

This months challenge was to reuse, repurpose or recycle packaging from our Papertrey Package. I used the corrugated cardboard that so snugly holds the paper in place. I aslo made a frame with the ever so cute thank you note from the PTI gang. Other materials (all from PTI) include kraft paper, Halloween Tags stamps, orange zest polka dot ribbon, orange zest and fresh snow ink. I fininshed it off with some orange peel Stickles.

PTI AUGUST BLOG HOP!

Our challenge this month was to create a project inspired by FALL's textures and colors. I created a series of these birthday cards using the following PTI products:

Stamps: around and about sentiments

Paper: kraft, vintage cream (texturized), pure poppy, ripe avocado, and summer sunrise

Ink: pure poppy, vintage cream, ripe avocado(inside/not shown)

Embellishments: vintage button (pure poppy), button twine (rustic jute)

PTI July Blog Hop!

This months challenge was to integrate TEXT into a project. I created a personalized Happy Birthday text background paper using WORD and a variety of fonts. The chipboard star is covered in Basic Grey / LimeRickey / Liquid Candy and edged with PTI Scarlet Jewel Ink. It is embellished with PTI Scarlet Jewel Bitty Dot Ribbon. Inside the card (not shown), I used PTI Around and About Sentiments and Out of the Box Stamps, and of course, the card is set on PTI Kraft Cardstock.

My first post & PTI It's In the Bag Challenge

Hi all! It looks like I am a blogger...I have a blog. So, here's to my adventure in the technological world. Please excuse any technological blunders. I promise to get better with practice. Thanks for your patience.

For the PTI It's in the Bag Challenge, I have two projects to share. It just so happened that I was getting ready to send my nephew a care package with some cookies for his birthday. I was going to use boring old tupperware. Instead, I made this:
