PTI December Blog Hop!

PTI annual holiday leftovers challenge!  Our challenge was to use scraps of wrapping paper, parts of holiday cards, recycle gift tags or bits of ribbon on a paper crafting project. I used the PTI Double Ended Banner Die to cut some leftover wrapping paper.  The sentiment is from the Out of the Box Stamp Collection. The first pictures shows my messy "workshop." The second picture is a close up of the card.  I  plan to send the card to an elder cousin who is ill and has just moved across the country to live with her daughter.

OCTOBER PTI BLOG HOP!

Our task this month was to create a project that celebrates Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or some other winter holiday as we embrace everyone's beliefs in a celebration of diversity through paper crafting.

I combined old and new PTI goodies for these Chanukah tags.  I love the shape of the new tag die #2 and the limitless layers dies. I also used the blueberry sky cardstock and felt.  I combined these with my old standbys of white and kraft cardstock and the wonderful Mazel Tov stamp set.  To make the centers of each tag, I used VersaMark ink, embossing powder and twinkling H20s.  The dimension of this part doesn’t show up too well in the picture—sorry. A couple of close-ups are below...

PTI September Blog Hop!
This month's challenge was to: "show off skills that you might have learned from a fellow stamper." I’d like to use this opportunity to give a huge SHOUT OUT to Heather Nichols at pinefeather.typepad.com.  Heather, I so enjoyed meeting you in Chicago this summer. You (and your PTI goodness) are always an inspiration to me. I love your style and I have learned so much from the projects that you share. Here, I made some Halloween tags using your “old” Boo to You and Spooky Sweets sets and also the “new” Tiny Treats Halloween. I also used the new tag die and I am in love with the PTI rick rack dies and the felt. I had such fun mixing the old and the new. Thank you, Heather for sharing yourself and your talents with all of us!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
TO ALL!

PTI January Challenge

The Challenge: This month's challenge is to create a card that has the "total package".  Create any style card you can dream up, then take it the next step.  Embellish the interior and adorn the envelope.  You might even want to add a little something to the back of the card!

I made this card and envelope for my best friend’s 50th birthday.  I hosted a dinner for her on Saturday night.

Stamps:  Around and About Sentiments (PTI)
Paper: Kraft, White, Bitty Star Basics (PTl)
Ink: True Black, Fresh Snow (PTI)
Punches: circle
Other: buttons, dimensionals, stickles (from my stash)

Good Luck to all!
