What a fun technique. I think I have found my style for holiday tags this year. Thanks PTI!

Make It Monday #34: Thick Chipboard Accents
I loved learning this new technique to create chipboard accents with PTI dies. I had some tiny clothespins on hand, so I repurposed Nichole's Halloween Treats and Sweets project to make teacher gift notepads. I will be using this new technique often. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge!
Boys To Men
This month's blog hop is dedicated to all the boys and men in our lives! Our task was to create a masculine project using masculine color schemes, patterns and embellishments. I cut PTI black felt with the new Simple Circles border die. The buttons and twine are from my PTI stash. The red paper is from Bitty Star Basics. The sentiments (inside) are from Tag Its #1. I am now ready for Father's Day. Thank you PTI!

PTI MARCH BLOG HOP!
This month we were challenged to use embroidery floss in a project. I am having so much fun with the new PTI tiny tags stamps and dies. A perfect chance to incorporate embroidery floss in a project. I used the book impression plate on enchanted evening card stock for the background. The ribbon is orange zest saddle stitch.
I am looking forward to seeing all the creations this month!

Make It Monday #6: Impression Plate Tricks #1
Another fun inspiration from PTI Make It Monday. I used the Book Print Impression Plate on the top (only) of my center cardstock. Loved the idea of scoring to add definition. The sentiment is from Beyond Basic Borders (stamped in True Black). The background paper is from Guide Lines. I finished the card off by stacking PTI Vintage Buttons and attaching them with Button Twine.
Thanks for stopping by. Looking forward to seeing everyone's projects.

Make It Monday #5: Distressing Edges
Another fun technique from PTI. I used the polka dot basics impression plate on Pure Poppy paper and then distressed the edges. I must say that the PTI paper is perfect for distressing. I cut the numbers with the new number dies (which I love) and distressed these as well. The numbers masking tape is from Tim Holtz (I think). All ready for my son's 14th birthday!

PTI Make It Monday #4: Creating with Fun Foam
What a fun idea. I raided the kids craft supplies for the blue fun foam, cut it with my PTI star dies, used the small for stamping on Kraft paper with Fresh Snow ink, then layered the large foam cut with a medium star cut from the Bitty Star Basics and finished it off with a button from the Holiday Vintage mix collection and some Enchanted Evening baker's twine. Thanks for sharing this fun technique!

PTI FEBRUARY BLOG HOP!
Our challenge this month was to create a project using scallops. I used the PTI MEDIUM SCALLOPED BORDER DIE and the BY THE NUMBERS PAPER PAD to create this birthday card for my brother. Other PTI products include dark chocolate card stock and ink, vellum paper, the banner builder die, buttons from the vintage holiday mix, and rustic jute button twine.
Good luck to all,

PTI JANUARY BLOG HOP!

With the new year comes a clean slate along with many resolutions. This month's blog hop challenge involves you challenging yourself to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that might be collecting a little dust!
I was so happy to see this challenge. I was excited to receive my BANNER BUILDER stamps and dies, but I have not had a chance to play with them. This challenge was a great opportunity. I used the stamps and dies and some PTI paper and felt to make the birthday tags below. The sentiments are from LIMITLESS LABELS, another set collecting dust in my collection. I had a rash of January and February birthdays so these tags have come in very handy.
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!
